Kings County Jail bail bonds.
If someone you know has been booked into Kings County Jail in Hanford, here's how to find out where they are, who to call, and how the bond gets posted. Kings County Bail Bonds writes bail bonds from an office on North 11th Avenue in Hanford, the same town as the jail and the court.
Confirm where they are.
Kings County runs its own inmate locator. Start there. It updates hourly, so somebody booked in the last hour may not show yet. If the locator comes up empty and you still think they were arrested in Kings County, the Sheriff's jail and inmate line can tell you.

Jail and inmate information
The county's own line for booking and inmate questions: (559) 852-2812.
Sheriff's Office main line: (559) 584-1431.
We're happy to call the jail and get the information for you. If you'd rather we make the call, phone us at (559) 584-3615.
What if the county inmate search does not show the person?
A recent booking may not appear in the county's online inmate search right away. Check the spelling of the name and confirm that you are searching the county where the person may be held. A missing result does not, by itself, confirm that the person has been released.
Use the official jail information number listed on this page, or contact our office for help checking where the person is being held.
How a bond gets posted here.
- Call us with a name. The full name of the person in custody, spelled the way the jail would have it, and where they're being held. A booking number helps, but most people don't have one.
- We check the bail. The agent checks the bail amount the court has set, then walks you through the process and lets you know what the bond(s) would cost before you commit to anything. See the cost example and payment information.
- You decide. Nothing happens until you say so. If you would like to move forward, we can handle the paperwork in our Hanford office, or in many cases we can process the paperwork over the phone and online. What a co-signer agrees to.
- If the bond is approved, we post it. At the jail or at the court, depending on where the case stands. You don't need to go stand in line or work out who to hand it to.
Can bail be posted on a warrant?
In many cases, bail can be posted at the court on a warrant. The court can then recall the warrant and set a court date. Whether that route is available depends on the warrant and the court's requirements.
Contact a licensed agent to check whether a bond can be posted and what the next steps would be. The court decides whether to recall the warrant; posting a bond does not guarantee that result.
The jail, the court, and visiting.
The jail and the Superior Court sit on the same road in Hanford. Visits are video, either from home or on site, and they have to be scheduled and registered in advance through the county, not through us.
